THE YELLOW ROOM
This romantic room is often chosen by honeymooners. The handsome “King Pine” floor boards are 24″ wide. (Until 1776 trees of this girth belonged to the King of England, and used for the masts of his war ships). This room features a queen-size brass bed with a handmade Amish quilt, and an antique oak dresser, a red velvet Queen Ann Chair with foot stool and red velvet trunk. The Yellow Room has a private bath, and shower with a marble tiled floor. The vanity sink is set in an antique oak dresser. It has a large working wood fireplace, original folk art paintings, and sculpture, individual temperature controls for a comfortable stay throughout the year, and lovely meadow and forest views.
